The colors of the future – Exhibition by textile artist Apol Temesi Application of non-native, invasive dye plants 28 October, Wednesday, 18.00 pm, Liszt Institute In her work, textile designer artist and researcher Apol Temesi examines the contemporary ecological aspect of plant based dyeing. Plants that are conquering space more effectively are slowly redrawing our landscapes and changing their color at the same time. Apol's work visualizes the transformation associated with the discoloration of the landscape, which she makes visible to us by systematically examining the color content of new plants that are spreading at a rapid pace. Her textile art series unleash the potential of design's responsibility and aim to initiate a local ecological dialogue. The exhibition will be open to public till 25 November.
